The MSRP is the same as the original Glimmer - $149.99.
The system comes with two starter rolls of foil, press & foil plates, and the system itself. All you need is a die cutting machine and cardstock and you can get foiling right away!
Yes! All of the accessories you paired with the original Glimmer work with the new and improved system, including foils, plates and shims.
Don't forget... your BetterPress plates also work beautifully with Glimmer II!
Glimmer II is compatible with the following die cutting machines:
- Spellbinders Platinum™
- Spellbinders Platinum 6™
- Stampin’Up Stampin'Cut & Emboss Machine™
- Sizzix Big Shot Plus™
- Sizzix Switch™
It does not work in a Sizzix Big Shot (original or newly released).
The platform in the original system was unplugged when it was “undocked," so there is no significant change from the original. Glimmer II is easier to plug and unplug with the magnetic charging cable, making the return to heating quicker. Plus, the full plate heating on the new system makes Glimmer II heat up faster between passes through the machine – just be sure to plug it back in promptly!
Yes! Glimmer II has several options for our international friends. Glimmer II is available with power supply for Australia, the UK, and Europe!
